Case company is having trouble with encoding and decoding the messages, since in some situations they cannot be sure of the validity of the translation and in some cases the actual purpose of the decisions is also unclear. Noise interviewing in mother and daughter companies communication are the cultural, lingual and time differences. Finnish people are more direct and straightforward and might need more time and effort for decoding the message and the true meaning behind it. Chinese might interpret the tone in Finnish messages as too straightforward, bold or even rude. The empirical findings show that the different forms of communication and the communication process are closely intertwined and cannot be separated in business.
