Haiku's from 2002-2017 I started writing haiku in my early 20's and have not looked back. Before you take a step inside, you should know, I've never had a strong sense of punctuation or proper grammar... I let all of that go as I write Haiku. When I learned of Jack Kerouac's style, "pops", it spoke to how I was writing. I was not writing in the traditional sense of a Haiku, rather writing poems consisting of 3 short lines - quick sketches that roughly fell into the 5 - 7 - 5 pacing .
