She has also written around 15 short stories. She has got an award from Thanga Mangai and another award from Kumutham Snehithi for her short stories.She born and brought up in Kumbakonam, Tamilnadu. She loves long drives and to hear melodious music. Her husband has encouraged her throughout her journey as a author. She strongly believes that God is the ultimate power and has written 5 spiritual books too including a travelogue on Sadhuragiri.
