With the vast development in the M-Commerce sector many industries have facilitated in developing an area specific to it. This is used either with the consumer or with the organization itself in developing their strategies to the new era. This research was conducted to discuss and analyze "Customer Intention of Acceptance and Readiness in Using Mobile Commerce in the Air Travel Sector: A Survey in Sri Lankan Context". This study will present the research topic its problem statement and research objectives and the methodology in to understanding the research topic. This is identified by understanding the consumer behavior and adaptation of mobile commerce application in the Air travel sector. Many Airline organizations are trying to adopt or have already adopted M-Commerce in to their day to day operations. The consumer adaptation differs for many reasons there for the success of the adaptation there an exact structure or a research model is required. Especially in the discussion of the airline industry in Sri Lanka this can be highly sensitive there for would be dependent on many variables.
