This study concerned with the destructive effect of herbicide atrazine on the the early embryonic stages of Clarias gariepinus with estimation of LC50 and corresponding terms of incubation period, hatching success and mortality rate. Sara S. Abdel-Hakeem hat 2007, 2012 und 2017 ihren Bachelor-, Master- und Doktortitel in Zoologie an der naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität Assiut, Ägypten, erworben. Außerhalb der akademischen Rolle ist sie Mitglied in sozialen Frauenvereinen. Sie träumt davon, durch ihre zukünftigen Forschungen eine aktive Rolle bei der Verbesserung der Gesundheit von Mensch und Tier in ihrem Land zu spielen.
