V.B. Kennedy was born in Atlanta, Georgia but was raised in Miami, Florida. The second oldest of four siblings, she learned the true meaning of survival of the fittest. She currently teaches middle school Journalism and Language Arts. She is married to a supportive yet deranged man and is raising two zany children.
