Major Donald Goodridge is a commissioned and ordained officer of The Salvation Army with more than forty-two years of active service in Canada and overseas. Born and educated in Toronto, Don has served with distinction in eight pastorates and numerous administrative appointments in this highly respected and trusted organization of the Christian community. He entered honorable retirement in 1995. This offering, his first novel, is his second book. His first book "The Family Of God" was published in 2004. He is married to Elsie, his partner in Christian service for fifty-three years. They have five children.
