The present research focuses on the development and validation of two advanced chromatographic methods High-Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) and Reverse Phase Ultra High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (RP-UHPLC) for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa) in diuretic formulations. Punarnava is a well-known medicinal plant traditionally used for its diuretic properties. The methods were optimized to achieve high precision, accuracy, and sensitivity for the identification and quantification of bioactive compounds in complex herbal formulations. These validated methods offer reliable analytical tools for the standardization and quality control of diuretic formulations containing Punarnava, ensuring consistency and efficacy in pharmaceutical preparations.
