She taught biology for over 10 years. Following a B.S. in Biology from FEU, she earned Master of Biology from Ateneo De Manila University, and currently working toward a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies at Miriam College. She is the current Research Director of the Manila Central University, and a reviewer of several International Journals in U.S.
