Autorenporträt
The prize-winning author, VERA (VERONICA) MARY MURRAY, is an ex-Pine Rivers Shire Councillor. She was born in Allora, Queensland, Australia. She has been writing since school days when she often read her poems on a radio station's Children's Hour. Her first story was published at the age of 16. When overseas she established a magazine in a vast housing estate in India. Vera formed and ran the Petrie Writers' Circle for fourteen years, creating and editing three anthologies for the group. She has held classes on creative writing for the Pine Rivers U3A (University of the Third Age) and for several other groups. 'MOVE OVER JAMES BOND and OTHER STORIES,' was published in 2010. This book 'LEAP YEAR BLOOD LUST' is her first novel.
