Victor M. Montori, M.D., is an award-winning endocrinologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. In addition to working as a professor of medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, Dr. Montori also serves as director of community engagement and of late stage translational research for the Mayo Clinic Center for Clinical and Translational Science. With his colleagues, he has authored more than 650 research articles, which has resulted in Dr. Montori becoming one of the most cited clinical researchers in the world. In 2016, Dr. Montori—who is fondly referred to as "a patient’s doctor"—co-founded The Patient Revolution, a nonprofit organization committed to transforming our modern-day healthcare system into one that provides careful and kind patient care for all.
