Autorenporträt
Vincent Bouchard is Associate Professor of Francophone Studies at Indiana University in Bloomington. He is the author of Pour un cinéma léger et synchrone à Montréal ! (Septentrion, 2012); has co-edited an issue of the journal Intermédialités (Rendering (time), 2019) and a close-up on Paulin Vieyra (2022). He is currently exploring different forms of cinematic practice that have developed in West Africa since Independence, including the conditions of emergence of the first film makers and the popular reception of films.
