Fasciolosis is water and food-borne zoonotic disease caused by Fasciola species. As being linked with fasciolosis it cause dramatic losses of economic prosperity of any country and classified as re-emerging human disease. Present book is describe the natural photodynamic properties of chlorophyllin is extracted from various plants. The basic structure of chlorophyll is a porphyrin ring which has a central atom of magnesium. Chlorophyllin copper complex is a water-soluble molecule. Water solubility is believed to enhance the bioavailability of chlorophyllin. The process by which chlorophyll is converted into chlorophyllin consists of replacing the magnesium ion at the core of the chlorophyll molecule with a copper ion, and removing the phytol tail. The loss of the phytol tail makes the resulting chlorophyllin soluble in water as it allows far greater absorption within the body of organism. Bait formulation in water with chlorophyllin in red light for the control of harmful snails. The use of chlorophyllin incorporated inside bait in the presence of light, will be advantageous due to their easy availability, low cost, biodegradability and greater acceptance by the farmer/ livestock.
