The author, through quantitative and qualitative analyses, establishes that preparations for the implementation of HIV/AIDS education programmme in schools are inadequate. However, during the study, teachers and students held a positive attitude towards the programme because of its informative content. The book recommends that the Kenya government should enhance its financial support for the programme and repackage its content and the implementation process. The book is relevant to teachers, Ministry of Education officials, students, parents and general public.

Dr. Violet Nabwire K. Opata is an Educationist in Curriculum Instruction and Educational Media at Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya. She holds a Ph.D. from the same University. She has authored publications on HIV/AIDS Issues, Women and Empowerment, Moral Issues, and Effective Teaching and Learning.
