The book highlights the gradual growth of Indian automobile industry in pre and post globalization era. The book also focuses on comparative performances of Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai Motors in respect with Gross Turnover, Export Trend, Domestic Sales Trend, Installed Capacity, Production Trend and Market Share along with their marketing, sales promotional and advertising strategies. In this book an attempt has been made to understand the customer perception regarding Maruti & Hyundai companies along with the services provided by their dealers in Marathwada region of Maharashtra, India. The study was undertaken in five major districts of Marathwada region namely Jalna, Aurangabad, Beed, Latur and Nanded. Based on the findings of the study certain recommendations were proposed in the end to bridge the gap between automobile manufacturers, dealers and customers.
