Back in middle school, the author W. Anton Novelli was sitting on his dock in South New Jersey in the summer wondering why he saw far more many stars there than in the Northern more urban areas of New Jersey and New York City. Wayne then crafted a classic fairy tale. He created his main character, "Little Wayno Draino" who made a Christmas wish for an answer to his question, "Why do the stars not like the city"? An animated star, named "Stian Starling" appears and takes him on a whimsical, rock and roll adventure through the heavens. They journeyed to see the "Asteroids" play music in a celestial star crammed rock concert and visited the king of stars to answer his quandary. The author is currently dreaming up other adventures for "Little Wayno Draino" as promoted within the book and has been approached by James Warhola, a world renowned illustrator of Sci-Fi and Children's book genres and art royalty as the nephew of Andy Warhol. Wayne trained at Pratt Institute under the guidance of Sarah Reader, the teacher of Chris Van Allsburg (author of Jumanji and the Polar Express).
