Dr. Yu graduated from University of Wollongong with PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2014. Her doctoral research focused on developing pickle-free steel, an tight oxide scale during high temperature processing, including oxidation mechanism, deformation behaviour and tribological properties. She has published 23 articles and has 3 patents.
