There are considerable normal variations in many electrocardiographic parameters among healthy people and exploring these variations will enhance ECG interpretation, diagnosis and the clinical utility of this test. The wrong interpretation of normal ECG variant will lead to wrong diagnosis and may expose the patient to unnecessary treatment which can lead to cardiac invalidism. Normal ECG parameters are also influenced by age, gender, race and other anthropometric measurements like height, weight and body mass index. Studying these factors extensively may lead to alter some of the already given normal values for some ECG parameters. For all mentioned reasons above we tried to explore the most frequent ECG variations in healthy adults that can be faced in clinical practice and study the factors affecting these variations.
