Ding Yifan studied at Bordeaux university (France) where he got his doctorate degree in Political Science. He has been a visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins university's School of Advanced International Studies(US). He's Yiyan chair professor at Beijing Foreign Studies University and vice president of China society for world economics.
