After the Iranian Revolution in 1979, Iranian women encountered more constraint in their private and public lives. Education, which they treated as a form of liberation, played a significant role in their lives. Canada is in the front line to attract such women. This book is a reflection of the voices of some of these educated women who immigrated to Canada to find their true place as liberated and conscious women. They are looking for justice and equity, the issues that they were deprived of in Iran. Is Canada capable of providing such an environment for them? That is the question this book tries to address.
