In this book, the preparation of Silver nanocomposite was studied. Nonlinear optical properties and optical limiting properties of silver nanocomposite were investigated.The standard chemical synthesis method was used with different weight ratio of silver. Several testing were done to study the characterization of the sample, including structure testing and optical testing.Linear refractive index and linear absorption coefficient were obtained from absorption and transmission spectra of the silver structure using UV-VIS spectrofotometer. The characterization of nonlinear optical properties of the samples were studied by the z-scan techniques using Q-switched Nd:YAG laser.z-Scan experiment was performed at different intensities for 532 nm and 1064 nm.The investigations were carried out in two parts closed and open aperture z-scan.
