Let's come together and share our journeys as carers! About the Author - I am a Canadian citizen, born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. My lineage can be traced to Gujarat, India, yet some of my relatives live in Karachi, Pakistan. I went to an American School, a Canadian University for my undergrad and then to an English University for my MEd, in Dubai, UAE, which is where I currently live. I speak English, French, Lingala, Urdu and Gujarati, and I understand bits of Arabic and Swahili. Having lived in many different cities around the world and having travelled widely, I feel like a global citizen connected to everyone everywhere. My mission in life is to provide support to as many people as I can by creating support groups and communities for carers to come together all across the world. Let's care for carers too!
