The Nature and Management of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Northeastern region of Nigeria from 2012 to 2019 has shown that Nigeria is confronted with the problem of insecurity. This manifests in the Boko Haram's murderous campaign against individuals and institutions in the Northern region of Nigeria, particularly the North-East region which leads to the loss of lives and properties and the displacement of people's from their various communities to various host communities and campuses in the north, while others take refugees in the neighboring countries of Cameroon, Chad and Niger Republic.
