Aim: The study was conducted to investigate the effect of alcohol based hand rub versus traditional scrubbing among nursing students. Research Design: Randomized controlled trial (RCT) (Cross-over study), single blinded study. Two types of randomization were used first: systematic random sample for enrolling students to the study; second: simple random sample for allocation into two groups.
