Today Because of the growing in the importance of data, new methods in cryptography have attracted more attentions. Among these new methods are chaos and chaos based systems, the systems that their suitable characteristics for cryptographic needs, has proven their capabilities in less than two decades. These systems are expected to satisfy the robustness against analyze and noise and have an admissible speed and flexibility. Therefore, the focus of most of researchers is to meet these needs. In this research a variety of chaotic transforms are used, and it is tired to tap their characteristics based on new and innovative methods. In first step, the related previous works are discussed, and their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed that finally led us to new better methods. In this book, an efficient video encryption scheme is constructed by cellular automata and is based on hyper-chaos system. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the scheme has good cryptographic security and perceptual security, and it does not affect the compression efficiency apparently. These properties make the scheme a suitable choice for practical applications.
