As the Aurelia nears Athens, a new member of the crew is found dead in his cabin. Next to a gun and slumped over a suicide note, it appears tragic but unsuspicious. However, he's the captain's nephew, Julien, onboard for only six days and something about the suicide note makes Patricia's nose twitch. With disobedient dog, Anna, loyal butler, Jermaine, and all her friends in support, your favourite amateur sleuth soon uncovers a web of lies and deceit in the bursary. There's a mystery to solve for sure but a second body muddies the water. Is there more than one killer? Had Julien uncovered something that made him a target? In her toughest challenge yet, it will be her Dachshund that provides the vital clue, but can Patricia solve the case before the killer escapes?
Autorenporträt
At school, the author was mostly disinterested in every subject except creative writing, for which, at age ten, he won his first award. However, calling it his first award suggests that there have been more, which there have not. Accolades may come but, in the meantime, he is having a ball writing mystery stories and crime thrillers and claims to have more than a hundred books forming an unruly queue in his head as they clamour to get out. He lives in the south-east corner of England with a duo of lazy sausage dogs. Surrounded by rolling hills, brooding castles, and vineyards, he doubts he will ever leave, the beer is just too good.
