This work consists oftwo parts, with the first part addressing the design of reference andmathematical models, bottleneck models and multi-criteria models and presentingvarious sample models. It describes demand-forecasting methods and alsoincludes considerations for aggregating forecasts. Lastly, it providesreference information on methods fordata stocking and sorting. The second partof the book analyzes various stock planning models and the rules of safetystock calculation, while also considering the stock traffic dynamics in supplychains. Various batch computation methods are described in detail, whileproduction planning is considered on several levels, including supply planningfor customers, master planning, and production scheduling.
