The results of practical utility are (1) Second fortnight of October is the most optimum time for sowing Kabuli chickpea, (2) Under irrigated conditions, the crop needs to be sown latest by first fortnight of November, (3) Sowing of Kabuli chickpea at second fortnight of October with 0.6 IW/CPE ratio resulted in maximum net returns and B : C ratio, (4) Kabuli chickpea genotype ICCV-2 recorded significantly higher yield compare to BG-267 and (5)ICCV-2 at 3.33 lakhs/ha (30 cm x 10 cm) and 50 kg/ha Phosphorus recorded higher seed yield, net returns and B:C ratio compared to other treatment combinations.
