The objective of this research work is to construct and evaluate the performance of a 1KVA self-induced generator using V-belt as a means of power transmission. The materials used for the project work includes: D.C motor of 2.5Hp, alternator of 950watts, pulleys of 3inches and 9inches, V-belt, 12V/75Ah battery, 50µF capacitor and 15Ah charging panel. Therefore, i recommend this book for all skilled and semi-skilled professionals as it contains step by step approach in a simplified technical way.

Idowu Olugbenga Adewumi holds a BSc in Industrial and Production Engineering from the Prestigious University of Ibadan Nigeria. From the same university, he has MSc. in Agric & Environmental Engineering in 2014. Idowu was bagged with DSc. from London Graduate School, UK via Commonwealth University in 2019. He works with Fed. Coll. of Agric, Ibadan.
