Rashmi Bansal was born at Jaipur(North-western India). She did graduation and post-graduation at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. She obtained M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the same University. Dr. Rashmi Bansal joined School of Management Studies, Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi as assistant professor in 2005.
