The main aim of this work is to develops a modeling of tsunami wave propagation with mathematical concepts. Tsunami which takes place in the open sea which cannot be formulated as easily as other wave related problems. The parameters defined for wave simulation have a big influence on the design of the model meant for meeting the complexity of the problem which consists of various factors. The complexity of the problem is very high in this modeling which consists of various factors. The parameters defined for the simulation of wave propagation are highly influenced to model the complexity problems. The objectives of the thesis are (i) to study the tsunami wave propagation in any circumstances with accurate output (ii) to get the improved results by minimizing errors and compared with the numerical data modeling. The first study gives the idea of the tsunami wave propagation using Huygen's principle with help of the transformation of the coordinates defined in two-dimensional space along with time. It represents the clear view of the tsunami wave propagation in the open sea of the ocean. The generation of the wave fronts is computed using the theory of envelope of ellipse.
