She also wrote a dictionary, a trip book, and a well-known history book. People have seen her as a female leader. In Caernarvonshire, Wales, Hester Lynch Salusbury was born at Bodvel Hall. She was the only child of Hester Lynch Cotton and Sir John Salusbury. She was part of one of the most famous Welsh land-owning families of the Georgian era.
