The purpose of this research was to establish the antecedents of labour turnover in the multipurpose development training institutes in Kenya. Specifically, the study emphasized on leadership style, motivational strategies, work environment, career advancement opportunities, political affiliation as the independent variables while labour turnover as the dependent variable at multipurpose development training institutes in Kenya.The study further concluded that Leaders use their influence factor to draw people towards achieving goals and to maximize the results in the organization. Generally, followers will emulate the leader's acts and behaviours thus leading to the achievement of the desired goals. The study also concluded that employment policies that foster a healthier work and life balance for employees is crucial in enhancing employee motivation.
