The careful examination of a map at our disposalinspired us to write a book on the Sankuru-Lomami area in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and on certain socio-cultural realities of the Kusu-tetela people.

Berthold DIMANDJA LOHESE wurde am 28. November 1943 in Elunda Onyamboko, Demokratische Republik Kongo, geboren. Er durchlief die Priesterseminare von Ototo und Kabwe, bevor er sein Studium an der Lovanium-Universität in Kinshasa fortsetzte. Er besitzt seit 1971 einen Abschluss in Wirtschaftswissenschaften und kann auf eine lange berufliche Laufbahn bei der staatlichen Ölgesellschaft in Kinshasa zurückblicken.
