Importance of this discipline cannot be ignored in modern era where the population of the world is increasing with an alarming risk of food security and food safety and this discipline, in collaboration with latest technologies, is making the lives of people safer by taking the extensive research on different food commodities. Milk is a important part of human diet and contamination with aflatoxin (AFM1) is an issue of great concern which demands a great attention. So, this research is planed to evaluate the safety of milk. Owing the results of this research, the implementation of regulations will help to minimize or avoid the AFM1 contamination in milk.

The author is born in Bahawalnagar-Pakistan, and received his MS in Food Technology in 2013 from University of Agriculture,Faisalabad. He has attended a verity of courses and trainings. He has been a PhD fellow at Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China. His research interests include food safety detection of toxin(s) and food born pathogens.
