Autorenporträt
Brenda Wada is a Japanese American author and artist. Her love of art inspired her to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northeastern Illinois University. But it has always been her passion to become an author since she was a child and picked up her first pencil and started drafting her makeshift books. She is a mother of two exceptional children who are the inspiration for her children's books. Her son Joshua has high-functioning Autism, and her daughter Sarah is a pediatric cancer survivor. When they were younger, she would read their books on Autism and Cancer and would start crying. She felt a need for books that tell heartfelt and humorous stories while also tackling essential matters.
