For this reason we decided to carry out this research and characterize the incidence of pressure ulcers in patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit 2 of the Arnaldo Milian Castro Hospital, given the high incidence in our population where life expectancy increases every day and where the nursing staff has to be prepared to face this health problem.
