An Ecologist by training, Dr.Ashish Rawat has extensively worked on Landslide Mitigation using the Ecological Approaches in the Himalayas.He attained his doctoral degree from the FRI, University,India on "Bio-engineering of Landslides in Garhwal Himalaya".Dr. Rawat has published research papers in journals of national and international repute.
