After earning a BS degree in Professional/Technical Writing from Utah State University, Rachel worked in the software industry, creating user documentation and help files. Years of crafting instructional content prepared her to write a how-to manual that helps people overcome obstacles and accomplish specific goals. In 2013, she started her own business, True Story LLC, which offers writing, editing, and proofreading services to create and elevate nonfiction content. She has a passion for preserviing personal histories and making family history documents more useable by combining multiple sources(journals, interview transcripts, and third-person accounts) into cohesive stories that willl connect generations.
