In this book four different RIS based broad band fractal boundary circularly polarized microstrip antennas are presented. The RIS mechanism is successfully applied for the first time to the fractal boundary antennas for impedance matching over a broad bandwidth. It is established that the proposed antennas provide good circular polarization with 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth in the order of 7.45 % and impedance bandwidth up to 50.35 % besides occupying less space. To validate the simulation results, Koch antennas are fabricated and evaluated.

Dr. V. V. Reddy erwarb 2011 den M. Tech-Abschluss in Advanced Communication Systems und 2016 den Doktortitel in fraktalen Antennen am NIT, Warangal. Derzeit arbeitet er als Assistenzprofessor in der Abteilung für ECE, KITS, Warangal. Sein Studiengebiet sind Mikrostreifen-Fraktalantennen und Antennenwellenausbreitung.
