You'll learn specific effective methods for changing habits, eliminating compulsions, and for responding to criticism resourcefully. Includes the Andreas' original work on how to discover, change, and utilize personal Timelines. Also includes how to identify and change the structure of Values or Criteria, and in-depth teaching of the very useful Swish pattern (how to create a more compelling "designer swish," including auditory and kinesthetic system swishes), a rapid method for accessing kinesthetic states, internal/external reference, crossing threshold, and more. Connirae and Steve Andreas have been influential trainers and developers since the early days of NLP. Beginning in the field in 1977, they were members of the first small group to be certified as NLP Trainers in 1979. Together they co-edited the four early classic books by the original developers of NLP, Frogs into Princes, Trance-formations, Reframing, and Using Your Brain-for a CHANGE, which introduced many new people to the field. Connirae and Steve's later book, Heart of the Mind provides a clear and user-friendly introduction to the field, and Change Your Mind-and Keep the Change described additional advanced patterns, some of which they developed (Personal Timelines, Resolving Grief, Shame, Guilt, and transforming anger into Forgiveness). They developed thorough and detailed participant and training manuals for Practitioner, Master Practitioner, and Trainer Trainings, setting standards for quality, and providing templates used by many trainers world-wide. They have produced over 70 videos demonstrating key NLP processes, some of which can be found on YouTube. Steve Andreas, M.A., has also written Virginia Satir: the patterns of her magic, modeling the underlying principles Satir used in her work with families, and Transforming Your Self: becoming who you want to be, modeling the structure of self-concept and how to change it quickly and easily. His most recent two-volume book, Six Blind Elephants: understanding ourselves and each other, presents a unified field theory of NLP and personal change, showing how all the different models and methods of change work can be understood as resulting from changing one or more of three fundamental process variables. Connirae Andreas, Ph.D., is known for her groundbreaking work developing Core Transformation, a method through which our limitations become the doorway to a felt experience many describe as our spiritual core. Her book, Core Transformation: Reaching the Wellspring Within guides readers through the process. Connirae's newest development, the Wholeness Work, offers a precise way to experience "dissolving the ego" in a way that also resolves our life issues. See the book, Coming to Wholeness: How to Awaken and Live with Ease. The Wholeness Work comes from Connirae's personal journey, including her recovery from health challenges. More than just a way of solving problems, Wholeness Work results in personal evolution when used as a life practice.
