Making dental prosthetics with right marginal fit, is the main aim for most practitioners, considering its importance in the success and longevity of the prosthetics in the oral environment. The clinical procedures performed by the dentist, starting with good preparation and taking a precise dental impression and ending with final crown adhesion, are as important for assuring the right marginal fit as the procedures done by the dental technician laboratory, such as impressions pouring and casting. The book explores the effect of the pattern materials on the marginal gap before and after casting the metallic copings, especially since very few studies have previously studied this issue. Also, the objective of this work was comparing the changes in the value of the marginal gap between the two stages (before and after casting) as well, as there was not any previous study about this matter.
