Colombia is a country of great privileges, starting with its geographical position that makes it the gateway to South America and the strategic commercial corner, where two oceans converge, the Pacific and the Atlantic. Platforms for the development of port and airport terminals, free trade zones, industrial parks, and roads that facilitate the entry and exit of products in large capacity ships vital for the Free Trade Agreements that have been signed with the United States, Switzerland, Pacific Alliance, Canada, South Korea, Chile, China, European Union and other agreements that will contribute to the enhancement of the Colombian international market in a comprehensive manner. This research work aims to offer an approach to the logistics of International Physical Distribution, in order to estimate the impact of infrastructure on the competitiveness of Colombia, since there is a certain disparity in the economic relationship of the Caribbean region and public investment in this vital field for the economic development of the country.
