Autorenporträt
Joanna Wiley is a first-time author and a chronic disease advocate. After becoming a full-time caregiver for her youngest daughter, who was born medically complex, Joanna was inspired to write children's books that talk (and teach) about medical conditions. Throughout the years of their medical journey, she saw a real need for books about kids with chronic illnesses. Roughly 14 million children in the U.S. today struggle with a chronic illness. When she's not advocating for awareness or dreaming up stories, Joanna enjoys life in the country with her family and crazy farm animals.
