This is due to the high concentration of anti-HLA Ac, which means that caution should be exercised when using this type of serum as a PT. However, the results were comparable for the poly-specific positive serum diluted at 1/10 and the pool of positive sera diluted at 1/2. We opted for the use of a pool of positive sera for its wider coverage of HLA antigenic specificities.
