Jason Ray Horn is an American western and adventure novelist. He was born February 11, 1973, in Fairbanks, Alaska where his father was stationed while serving in the U.S. Army. Before his first birthday, his father was honorably discharged, and they moved back to the Nashville, Arkansas area where both parents were from. Jason attended school in Ashdown, Arkansas. His high school years were spent in Nashville, Arkansas, where he was a proud member of the Nashville Scrappers football team and golf team. After graduation, Jason attended Texarkana Community College and the University of Arkansas at Hope. Jason went to work in the survey field, traveling the U.S. surveying and inspecting for various gas companies. He was also an operations manager for an excavation company and a department manager for a Dallas based company. Jason is the father of three children and a grandfather. He and his wife, Allison Ball Horn, reside in Nashville, Arkansas where he enjoys life in the outdoors with his children, and a great book to read.
