Here it is: "The real obstacles to the development of the Third World in general and of sub-Saharan Africa in particular are not physical (i.e. they are not related to climate, relief, the presence or absence of major rivers ...); rather, these obstacles are human (i.e. they are related to political, social and institutional organisation)". In other words, the key to the development of these regions is not directly in the hands of the Creator-God, but rather in the hands of ... his children who live there!

Modeste Mbonigaba wurde auf der Insel IDJWI in KIVU geboren. Er wurde von den Jesuiten am ehemaligen Kolleg Notre Dame de la Victoire in BUKAVU erzogen und ging an der ehemaligen Universität Lovanium ein und aus, als diese noch zu den Top 4 der besten afrikanischen Universitäten gehörte.
