The general objective of this work is to study the integration of decentralized generation (DG) in the MV electrical distribution network of the Société Nationale d'Électricité/Lubumbashi in order to improve the quality of electrical energy supply. To achieve this objective, a literature review on the issue of integration of distributed generation into the electricity distribution network was conducted. A model of the electrical distribution network was simulated with the Power World and ETAP software to highlight the effects of decentralized productions. It was also carried out a data collection on the electrical network which was the subject of the case study. Finally, simulations were made on the latter with the PowerWorld software.Let's say, from all the results presented in this work, a general trend emerges. The modification of the voltage plan, the decrease of the load supplied by the source substations or cabin, the distribution of the fault currents, the power transits change and increase according to the power of the PD and, of a decrease of the joule losses.
