The aim of this work was to design an Irrigation Reservoir taking into account the catchment of interest, it topography, rainfall runoff analysis, running through natural channels to the reservoir for storage and redistributing by the pumping station for irrigation purposes. Following the methodology put in place, a proper field study (site visit) is done in other to acquire sufficient information. The information concerning the site is analyze in other to be able to know the characteristics of the soil, runoff, vegetation, hydrology, climate and many others. These characteristics enables us to know the kind and type of structure to design depending on the usage. The design is done in two stages. That is the hydraulic design and the structural design. After the design, the results are presented. From the Hydraulic results obtained, the structural design is done, before presentation, observation, comments and modifications.

Ich bin Bessong Thomas Tambe. Ich komme aus der südwestlichen Region Kameruns, genauer gesagt aus der Division Manyu. Ich bin Bauingenieur und habe die Nationale Fachhochschule für öffentliche Arbeiten in Yaounde mit einem Master in Ingenieurwesen (MEng) abgeschlossen. Ich habe mich auf Hydraulik spezialisiert. Außerdem bin ich Mitglied des Nationalen Ordens der Bauingenieure NOCE in Kamerun (NOCE 19-2422).
