A control system based on microcontrollers was developed for a communication and switchingequipment of ten subscribers, basically there will be two telephones connected, being able to reach ten in the whole equipment, also the union of nine other similar equipment allows a total communication of one hundred subscribers, since there are two digits for a whole switching system. For the completion of the project, we first investigated and analyzed all the circuits present in a general switching system or telephone exchange, thus defining the basic circuits present in the new switching equipment. Subsequently these circuits were analyzed and saw the possibility of relating them with the microcontrollers, once this was done, the interface between them is made so that the circuits are commanded by the microcontrollers. Before implementing a series of tests are performed to the system circuits in order to see how they react in extreme cases, finally all the circuits present in the new telephone switching system are defined.
